A review of Family Mission Tour 2012

Hello Everyone:

The Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches has included on their website a recent article on Family Mission Tour 2012.  You can go to www.baptist-atlantic.ca and click on the news section to find the article or you can click here to go directly to the article.  Family Misson Tour is a great event for us as a camp and it is one of the few opportunities for families in Atlantic Canada to serve together on a mission project.  We send out our thanks to Marion Jamer and the staff at CABC for all of their work to bring the families to the camp for this important week of mission.

Summer 2012 Schedule

We have made some changes to our summer schedule and we want you to know so you can include camp in your summer plans.

Vacation Bible School will be held during the week beginning July 30 and there will also be a basketball camp for middle school age students running that week.

Camp Kick-Off Nights:
Monday - Navigator, Ages 5-7, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Tuesday - Seafarers, Ages 8-9, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Wednesday - Explorers, Ages 10-12, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Thursday - Teens, Ages 13 - 17, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Cost for all camp kick-off nights is FREE

All are encouraged to attend
June 24 - June 29
Seafarers Camp for ages 8 and 9
July 1 - 6
Explorers Camp for ages 10-12
July 8 - 10
Navigator I Day Camp for ages 5-7
Sunday: 3-8 PM
Monday/Tuesday: 8 AM-7 PM
July 11 - 13
Navigator II Overnight Camp for ages 5-7
Wednesday Drop-off: 9 AM, Friday Pick-up: 4 PM
July 15 - 20
Teen Camp, Ages 13-17
July 23 - 27
Mother's Camp for all mothers and children ages 0 - 12
July 29 - August 3
Basketball Day Camp for students entering grade 6 to grade 9, COST: $50
&
Daily Vacation Bible Adventure  9:00 am to noon daily for ages 4 to 11
Please note: The minimum age for a camp is based on the individual's age on December 31st 2012.

Summer Staff 2012

We are looking for enegetic people who love Jesus Christ and want to serve Him this summer at Edith Lank.  If you would like to be considered for a staff position at the camp this summer, download an application, fill it out and send it in.  We will try to have an answer for you by March 31st.

Trent Raynard Returns For Summer 2012

Good news.

Trent Raynard will return to Edith Lank Memorial Christian Camp to provide leadership as the summer director.  He brings with him his valuable background as a camper, camp leader and as a school teacher as well as his experience from last summer as our director.  We look forward to what the Lord has in store for this summer as we work together to make Christian Camping another way to build up the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
